With the recent release of HBO's "The Great" and the bitter February winter quickly approaching, this 18th century riding jacket was the perfect blend of color and history all in one. Taking inspiration from a portrait of Sophie Von Voss from 1746, and implementing a vibrant pink upholstery silk and elaborate beaded lace applique, with flat pins for the closure.

Over a stiff cotton lining, the exterior was entirely sewn by hand in a matter of 3 weeks.

The tricorn hat is designed with ivory dupioni silk, brass and gold trim, and vintage 3" lace atop a modified, modern, straw hat.

Stays, shift, and sample petticoat were all custom designed prior to the festive Valentines themed jacket.
